Was looking for a new spot to have a bit of a breakfast, and Jelly Pancake House was recommended to me. Certainly glad I decided to swing in and give it a try! Started this meal off with a drink. I didn’t expect to go a bit boozy with it, but I can’t turn down a quality Tequila Sunrise, and that orange zing paired with the tequila gave me the zip I needed to wake up. Luckily, I was able to soak it up with two slices of toast, and since they had some dairy-free butter there I was more than willing to spread some goodness on it. Lastly, I filled my belly with the Vegan Skillet. Breakfast is a hard meal to find plant-based options for, so this skillet stands out among the crowd. With kale, quinoa, broccoli, asparagus, onion, and a hardy helping of potatoes to provide a base, this skillet is both nutrient dense and flavorful. It’s been a while since I’ve left breakfast this full! Looking forward to the next time I kick off my morning with some Jelly Pancake House!

Had breakfast here on 2/4/25. The food was very good. I had an omelet. I like the small pancakes as a side. Service was great and fast. New ownership here. Give them a try. I was very impressed.

Interesting little place that you could easily miss if you didn't know it was here. Stopped in for breakfast and tried the breakfast Mac. The meat was perfect and the white cheddar sauce hit the spot. Prices are fair for the product and if you feel a little adventurous their specialty menu has some interesting options I want to try if I am in Dwyer again sometime. Overall feel is updated Americana breakfast with a twist. I do like that they offer cholula along with Tabasco. Bar appears adequately stocked for a restaurant, but wasn't hear for a drink. Decor is warm, vibrant and easy on the eye. Music is R&B with appropriate volume levels so you can hear your conversations easily. You will pay 15 to 25 a head and it's worth it. Definitely stop in. Breakfast hours are reasonably quiet.

Came here on a Saturday morning not a long wait, great ambiance and easy menu. Had a a very Tasty skillet would definitely order it again the pancakes were delicious.

Love this place for breakfast and brunch! 2 Steaks eggs and hash browns with 2 long islands for 2 people 91.00. Food is great!

Stopped in with my wife for brunch and it was really good! The staff were all very friendly and greeted us right away. I got an omelette and tater tots that were served really fast and tasted great. Great overall experience, I'd definitely recommend!

This has to be my favorite breakfast spot! We were greeted by a friendly host and our server Shena went above and beyond to make sure our breakfast was perfect! The atmosphere was amazing! Classic oldies music playing. Banana bourbon French toast was made with a velvety Jim Beam bourbon. Delish! Corn beef hash was perfectly cooked and paired well with the red potatoes.

I went to the Jelly in Merrillville years ago. Was not impressed. I figured I might as well give this one a chance. They have stood the test of time. What a nice joint. The service was good. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was kinda cool.
